Dear Colleagues and Esteemed Members of LOGS,

It is with profound honour and gratitude that I assume the presidency of LOGS — a society built over decades on the steadfast foundations of academic excellence, professional collaboration, and dedication to maternal and women’s health. In keeping with the tradition of our founding members, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology through education, research, and compassionate clinical care.

Much like the leadership messages on the FOGSI website, I salute the diligent work of the previous executive committee and thank every member for their continued dedication. Under our banner, we aim to strengthen scientific learning, encourage evidence based practice, and expand outreach efforts to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes in our community.

With the momentum generated by landmark events such as AICOG 2020 in Lucknow, hosted under LOGS stewardship, I envision a future where our Society not only fosters academic excellence but also plays a pivotal role in shaping women’s health policy, training young practitioners, and promoting research and community awareness.
