Lucknow Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society

The Lucknow Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society (LOGS) is a distinguished professional body comprising obstetricians and gynaecologists dedicated to advancing women’s health and promoting excellence in clinical practice, education, and research. Established with the mandate to strengthen the academic and professional environment in Lucknow, LOGS functions as an active local society affiliated with the broader vision and values championed by our national organization- Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI).


Our Mandate

LOGS strives to uphold the highest standards of obstetric and gynaecological care by fostering scientific inquiry, continuous medical education, and adherence to evidence-based practice. The Society serves as a platform where professionals come together to exchange knowledge, deliberate on emerging healthcare challenges, and contribute to improving maternal, reproductive, and newborn health outcomes in the region.


Our Objectives

LOGS functions with the following core objectives:

  • To promote continuing medical education through scientific meetings, workshops, conferences, and collaborative academic activities.
  • To encourage ethical and evidence-based clinical practice, ensuring safe, respectful, and patient-centred care for women across all stages of life.
  • To support and facilitate research in obstetrics, gynaecology, and reproductive health, enabling clinicians to contribute to scientific advancement.
