Academic Activities

Our conclaves have featured renowned national faculty members including Dr. V. Seshiah, Dr. Sunita Tandulwadkar, Dr. Alpesh Gandhi, Dr. Dipak Bhagade, Dr. Sampat Kumari, Dr. Milind Shah, and Dr. Mitra Saxena . Advocacy Initiatives

We have launched significant initiatives in partnership with JHPIEGO, SAFOG, and FOGSI focusing on cancer care and maternal health, 2.

  • Breast Cancer Care: Launch of "Shubharambh" Programme and establishment of Breast Health Clinics at KGMU & RML, 1.

  • Training: TOT for 20 gynecologists in breast cancer screening and SB.

  • Maternal Health: Free HPV DNA testing campaign with 400 kits distributed in Lucknow, Kanpur & Bahraic.

  • State Committees: Participation in monitoring committees for prevention of unnecessary hysterectomies and anemia, 24, 2.

FOGSI-linked Programs & Collaborations

  • Cervical Cancer: Launch of "Do Teeke Zindagi" Elimination Programme (4 March 2025).

  • Clinical Research: "Know Your Number" campaign screening 150 nursing students (BMI, BP, Hb), 32, 33.

  • Women's Day: Walkathon, debate competition, and skit by nursing student.

  • Environment: Plantation of 100 saplings by the Environmental Committe.

Collaborative CMEs & Community Outreach

  • Collaborative CMEs: IFS HOPE CME (29/09/24 & 09/09/25), GAWA CME (Women's Health & Modern Gynaecology), UP ISAR CME (20/04/25), and 13th Annual IHRF Conference, 42, 43, 44, 4.

  • Community Outreach: Health camps in Sitapur, awareness talks for nursing students, and poster competitions, 38, 3.

  • Social Causes: Participation in 1090 protest (Kolkata Young Doctor rape case.
